Tinkerbell Tattoos
June 5, 2010
My daughter just loves Tinkerbell. She's two, and already loves to dress up like a princess or a fairy. I never considered getting a Tinkerbell tattoo myself, but I looked into them nonetheless. :) Most of the ones I found were standard Tinkerbell poses, but there are some creative ones out there. Here's a standard Tinkerbell pose, but this one is much larger than normal. Then tend to be small -- maybe 3 inches tall at most -- and the most common locations are hips and shoulders.

Lower Back Tattoo Designs: Here’s a Feminine One
May 29, 2010
Affectionately called "tramp stamps," they are actually pretty versatile for those who are willing to be creative. The vast majority of lower back tattoo designs are sported by women, but my friend reports that the occasional customer is male. Here's a very feminine lower back tattoo design.

Taking Care of Your Tattoos
May 15, 2010
Proper aftercare is very important to your tattoo. I've seen some wicked cases of infection and scabbing, and many cases of tattoos prematurely fading and running. It's pretty simple to care for your tattoo, so why would anyone sit in the chair, spend the money, only to be left with something that is less than optimal? I don't get it. That's why you do your homework and browse through tons of tattoo designs before you make a decision.
Anyway, here's what might have been a nice tattoo, but it was somewhat ruined when it wasn't cared for:

Tribal Tattoo Pictures
April 16, 2010
Tribal tattoos peaked in popularity in the 2006 to 2007 timeframe, and since that time have become less common. However, their popularity remains strong in the bodybuilding and MMA circles -- or really, any "tough guy" circle. My friend says that tribal tattoos are still popular among this crowd, and he still sees demand for lower back tribal tattoos, as well as crossover tattoos that mix tribal work with another style.
Here's a fresh tribal tattoo design:

Lower Back Tattoo Designs: Mushrooms
February 12, 2010
I don't know why this one appeals to me. It's not the typical type of tattoo I like. I think I just picture its owner as being fun and unconventional. And someone who like mushrooms. Yumm.

Wings with a Cross

Another good crossover tattoo, combining wings with a traditional Christian cross:

Crosses come in all shapes, styles, and sizes, but this is an incredibly realistic effect:

Wow, what a killer tattoo. Feminine, beautiful, severe, and intense all rolled into one. Beautiful work.

Wow!
Wings Tattoos: Crossover with Tribal
May 15, 2009
I'm not a huge fan of tribal work -- actually, I have a tribal tattoo (red, black, and white) on my left arm, but I got some years ago before it became as saturated as it is today. But here's a great crossover design that meshes the tribal style with some nice wings. They pulled it off well, don't you think?
